Achourasia Trust’s Food Distribution Campaign addresses hunger and malnutrition in underprivileged communities. Many families in rural and urban slum areas struggle daily for a single meal. Objective
Combat hunger and food insecurity among daily wage workers, orphans, elderly citizens, and the homeless.
Provide regular nutritious meals to the needy and vulnerable sections of society.
Create a platform for redistributing excess food from households, events, and restaurants to avoid food waste.
Key Activities
Organizing daily or weekly cooked food and dry ration distribution in slum areas, villages, railway stations, and underpasses.
Collaborating with local restaurants, hotels, and donors to collect surplus food.
Packing and distributing grocery kits with rice, pulses, cooking oil, salt, and spices to families in need.
Participation
